Luke Wright headlines Suffolk poetry festival at John Peel Centre
BBC Radio 4 Star Luke Wright will be topping the bill at Suffolk Poetry Society's first poetry festival on Saturday 31 May. Wright, who lives in Bungay, will be rounding off a day of poetry at the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket which will have a strong grassroots theme. Members of at least six poetry groups from across Suffolk will be delivering a series of readings during the afternoon. Suffolk poetry society’s chairman, Ian Griffiths, said: “Suffolk is alive with poetry, with many thriving cafes and groups.” More details
