'Driftwood Parasols & Seaweed Trees'
Counting the days, counting the years, until that time when I would find her.
Knowing now that my search is over, I have never met a woman like her.
The more that I see of her, the more she continues to astound me.
A love so unprecedented, she must be heaven sent, I pray that she will stay.
She makes me smile, and gets my strange, weird, and eccentric ways.
I would now be, forever lonely without her; she makes all of my days.
Knowing that I would never want to disappoint, or hurt her.
Therefore, can I be the only one in her life, now that I have found her.
And, when the party is over, she will always come home to me.
Colouring my life, as I live my dream, for all those around to see.
In a kaleidoscope of rainbows, filling my world, both day and night.
Taking me, from an abyss of darkness, she has drawn me into the light.
To be busy doing nothing, is my best of times with her.
To make a dream home on the beach, as waves crash against the shore.
Distance is no object, being both, only, a phone call away.
A love that I hope, will last forever, growing stronger everyday.
We have both been known as misfits, many times in our lives.
Graduates of survival, which has now bought us together.
So let us dream and let us hope that the future will be kind.
As we will be to those, we love, as we leave our pasts behind.
To gain experience, from the problems, of the years gone by.
To love one another, and live for today, and to never ask the reason why.
That after so much pain, throughout both our lives, we have now found love.
To lay side by side, on a summers night, and view the stars above.
Walking hand in hand, on a deserted beach, or through an autumn wood.
As we talk of nothing, just making each other laugh, as true soul mates should.
She is my world, my best friend, my lover all rolled into one.
She shines so brightly in my heart, but is nothing like the sun.
Far stronger, far brighter, then any planet could ever be.
Projecting moonbeams, and gamma rays of love, directly into me.
I hope I never let her down, or we break one another’s heart.
Now that we have both found each other, may we never be apart.
