Ian McMillan and the Poetry Proms at Wirral Festival of Firsts

Ian McMillan is one of the stars of Wirral’s Festival of Firsts, performing at Hoylake Chapel on Thursday 10 July at 7.30pm. Another big poetic highlight of the festival is the Poetry Proms at New Brighton on Sunday 6 July, when many poets get the chance to read or perform their poems. Those who have confirmed in advance get six-minute slots, and others who turn up on the day should get the chance to read a poem. More details
