HOW 'INDIE' ARE YOU REALLY?
I laugh out loud at the many contradictions of the self rightious, how certain cultures, encourage individuality, only to be kidnapped by the mainstream, how much did you earn off your 'individual soul'?, as you protect and defend your subculture, from the 'vultures', you become blinkered, and fail to appreciate any others, so how 'indie' are you really? Not an ounce..., if you look at it clearly, for as long as the vulnrable look for somthing to embrace, there will never really be an individual face...

Well the real indie started in my opinion in germany back in the 70s.So everything after is a copy and sad one at that. when I see chicks dressed up, like I did 20 years ago, I think wow, a copy, ok so you loved what I did back then, but can you be you? I dont get all the self mutilation and all, its not different, its just what it is.I hope I have not offended you, but I tire of people dressing how I did 20 years ago and thinking they are punk, or indie, and they are not new or different, and they just freaking old people out.sad really. good poem.
