Path of Destruction
Path Of Destruction
Before the path lay straight
Narrow, unending
A simple twist of fate
Turn sallow, pretending
God’s design, wicked every which way
Hard to find truth every blood soaked day
No reason for will, cloud the mind away
Sooner or later, for your sins you will pay
Take it from me as I walk down the path
Ending in pain as I never look back
I knew in my heart it was wrong the whole time
But now that I’m broken I’ve chosen to find
This world’s full of evil, and so was my mind
But it’s not too late for heaven; it’s never too late for mine
I’m on a path of destruction
Ending in pain
Endless confusion
Hiding the shame
No chance for redemption
Lost in the rain
The sour conjunction
Of life’s ruthless game
The greed will live on for millions of years
While truth will decay from millions of fears
The kids will know life after millions of tears
And everything we thought was beautiful will disappear
Today the path lay straight
Progress in the form of labor
I hurried and now I wait
Another victim of human nature
