'Paper Dreams'
I was living my life in somebody else's dreams.
You knew that I wanted to be a part of your life.
You knew that I needed to be a part of something.
I was a man whose dreams were deserted by love.
We would be the first to pick the flowers of spring.
To feel our hearts beat as one, a synchronicity of passion.
Kissing one another, cherishing one another's bodies in our sensual world.
But when I get sad and think of the past the skies begin to rain.
We all need someone to rely on for comfort and emotion.
My best dream could however, be better than someone else's worst.
Ever decreasing circles as pebbles of love skip swiftly across life's waters.
Never to have a past, never the way we wished, only the way fate made it.
But I am no longer alone in my world of candlelight and wine.
But sometimes I cannot sleep, and if I do, when I dream I still wake up crying.
I never want to forget those days gone by, but I never want them back.
Because now the sun is shining and I am living my life within my own dreams.

interesting piece, gary. Had a nice beat in it, m8... You may need to pay attention to some of your line lengths as the beat drags out a bit in paces where a bit off editing could make it really tight.. An excellent piece thou
