Charlie
It was Charlie who brought them together
And once they realised it, well it was never going to last forever.
It was Charlie who was left in the middle.
He was there sun, their moon their rising star.
A child seat in two different cars.
Mum and dad now both see Charlie in two separate ways
Mum every morning for school and evenings occasionally when out in the 'pool.
Dad for occasional days when circumstances fit and there ia a baby sit.
Of course the white snow was slow to go and Friday night has taken the place of the relationship fights.
But Charlie is too young to know.
And so it is with the court case. The allegations and recriminations.
Charlie loves them both despite their floors the occasional wars.
And of course one must suppose, what disappears after a few beers, secretly up the nose.
