where is superman:
They all think I’m superman
I must have kryptonite in my back pocket
They all say I do so much good
But I can’t even solve my own fucking problems
They all think I’m some kinda super man
I must have some kryptonite in my back pocket then
Weaker than ever, I don’t have any of these powers
I’ve never known superman
To be a coward
I’ve never known a superman to need an escape
I’ve never known a superman, who wants to throw down his cape
I reach in my back pocket fuck it I’ll take a bite
Watch as I decay slowly, from this beautiful kryptonite
I’m doing so much good I’m the best they’ve had
But they didn’t want this superman to be like his dad
They didn’t want this superman to choose his own path
They only love a superhero when he’s saving their ass
I’m superman I can do anything, I’ll save you from this world
I can save the world, but can’t put a smile on this simple girl
Maybe I’m just so strong, I break everything I touch
Maybe my x-ray vision sees through too much
Don’t you wish you could see through superman’s eyes?
Maybe not now,
because this kryptonite,
is starting to metabolize.

Quite a thought provoking piece this.
Personally I don't think Superman would use expletives.
Nonetheless, it does carry a complicated message.
Are you trying to measure up to something?
Are you trying to self destruct?
Are you trying to get noticed?
So many questions in this piece.
Well done
