Sharing A Dawn
Sharing A Dawn
See all these palest visions,
Dark momentums, liberated free
from years oppressed expression
bled them tears; come
together as one voice,
Hear the deejay's blessed
by rhythmic beats call the
Dawning of Aquarius,
In stadiums of light.
These youthful peoples in future age
Proclaiming victory for
All one globe, a 'come together'
In forever fields of green,
A steal – a keep of memories,
A flood of feelings fleeing -
Littered walks of concrete mass,
to bask their extra sense.
Linger awhile,
Feel the heat, share jokes
around fires lit to take a
Chill and talk a talk of
Freedom, for these years,
Missed by many still clinging
to forgotten hope, be the
Best years of their life.

This is lovely...
And I must say, of all your poems - my favourite...
It is reminiscent of past and present, written with insight and sensitivity : )
