The Good the Bad & the Turkey

entry picture

Here comes Xmas to fill us all full of cheer

A delightful time of peace joy and celebration

Spend spend spend like there is no tomorrow

There’s a consumer jamboree across the nation

Christmas has got nothing to do with religion

Hey Santa - lead us not into temptation

Have a thought for those less fortunate than you

For whom the festive season will cause frustration

Children’s eyes will shine and sparkle with glee

As presents are opened with a good vibration

The three wise men follow a shining guiding star

In Bethlehem a king is born to much elation

Sitting by a blazing fire under the mistletoe

Sipping mulled wine and feeling excitation

Hey what about me stuck in your oven

Don’t I deserve some kind of explanation?

I am fed up and well and truly stuffed

The least I deserve is a standing ovation

Christmas for me is kind of quirky

The Good the Bad and the Turkey
