I Saw You

I saw you~

In colors of vibrant gold

Glowing from your pores

Seeping into my heart

I saw you~

Your eyes held the ocean

Seas of blue and fresh air

Breeze through my senses

Sweeping me away

I saw you~

As you laughed

Your voice rang in vibrations

Which traveled through my body

And shook my core

I saw you - as you saw my soul

My being , my whole - It was then I knew

Yes I saw you. I felt you. I heard you,

I let your happiness consume my very vessel--

Which held all my fears and longings

You finished my sentence as I was lost for words - in awe of you

You understand - As you saw me

And captivation of my fear faded

This energy of love brand new

Glistened on me like morning dew

And will forever keep me damp with joy

( I wrote this describing the first night I spent with my love, and I've felt this way ever since. )
