I thought I knew you

I knew nothing at all

You gave your core

to the black swirling roar

 

Couldn't you hear me call?

You backed yourself up against the wall

My silence speaking volumes

In the darkness you chose to explore

Sadly you followed the roar

 

I watched you change

Unrecongnisable to who you was before

The devil tempted you

Like a fool you wanted more
