FEAR

Fear within, crawling through my skin,

Despise the fucking fear spewing forth its venom.

Terror strikes unbidden to petrify my mind,

Its snaking hands to tear what it may find.

Disquiet in beginnings, the dawn of my despair,

A lingering apprehension the bloody afterbirth.

Fantastic in its dreadfulness, delighting in my pain.

Horror, fucking horror as my fear turns me insane.

My soul is writhing, squirming, disgust and dread combine,

Negatives become my norm, Phobia is all mine.

Disquiet in beginnings, the dawn of my despair,

A lingering apprehension the bloody afterbirth.

A nightmare of anxiety, the bile of my fright,

Rising in my throat, the scream that never speaks

Fucking fear my self destruction

My dread becomes my death.

Thanks Harry, in my experience, true fear is generally a quiet experience. Your comments are much appreciated.

Jackie,
I`m glad you included the `quiet` kind in this:

`Negatives become my norm`

`A lingering apprehension`

`The scream that never speaks`
