The Darkness has overcome;

I can no longer see the light.

The darkness overcome;

Though I've fought with all my might.

It's blinded me for so long,

And now I can't find my sight.

And so I just might fall into the black,

Never to look back.

 

The darkness has overcome,

And it's pulling me in.

I've lost all hope to the point

I feel as though I can not win. 

And so I watch as my ship crashes 

into this iceberg of misery and sinks.

And all i can do is think of all the good and all of the bad.

All the times life made me happy and sad.

And so I fall into the darkness asking why.

Though I'm still alive,

It's my soul that has died.
