Can You Not?
Can you not?
Your immaturity makes me want to scream!
You ignorance is not by any means
Appreciated. Oh, much woe is me
When your mouth opens to mock and preen.
Can't you stop?
There's no on who wants to hear you say
What you do. You always make me contemplate
Why I even woke up and tried today.
I wish you knew when to shut your damn face.
Let's just not.
I'll stay way over there so that I can't hear
The impossibly annoying phrases you jeer-
You judgemental, ungrateful child who's reared
Most likely by people much worse than you here.
Now I'm caught
Between the instinct to forgive and forget
And the strong urge to wrap my hands round your neck.
I sincerely hope this is the worst you get;
However, my wishes may never be met.
Please just halt.
Stop spewing words that will never be worth
The insecurities and pain and all of the hurt
You place unto people. You destroy the world's mirth;
You alone can make one regret one's own birth.
