Willow Hide The Night
Whispering willows conceal as night does.
Veiled in the trees, a slight breeze
Sways with grace accepting a warm embrace.
For two wanton hearts
The willow hides the night
A secret, can you keep? For the willow may weep.
Here again we meet, no intentions of deceit
As the dawn breaks emotions quake
the rain falls, the wind calls
For the willow to hide the night
One last promise to fulfill. But only, if you will
Forever be mine or rather I pine
Come true that wish for more, I implore
In wait of reply with hopes that you might
The willow hides the night
Without a fret, there will be regret
Words unspoken, vows broken
A crack of thunder leaves our world asunder
A wounded heart recites
Willow hide the night.
