I want to beautiful

Instead of being told.

I want to feel loved

Without a chant or a scold.

I want real friends

Who won’t lie to your face.

I want to be a nurse

A dream I’ll have to chase.

I want my mother

To love me for who I am .

I want my father

To understand.

That I am a girl

Who is growing.

I am an achiever

Who won’t stop showing.

Showing how mature I am getting

A person who is gentle and kind.

Someone who is always on a mind

Just take a moment and listen.
