The co-travellers.

There had to be a start,

to how conversations sprout,

in a train full of strangers,

whom you know nothing about.

Besides me seated,

a mother and her daughter,

a peaceful pair, caring, loving

cheerful, fun and laughter.

They seemed frequent travellers,

The mother, a teacher from a reputed school.

She was correcting notes of her students,

while her daughter was solving crosswords from newspaper, which was kinda cool.

Spoke, a lot of things

without a reference or a name,

Both of us were judgemental,

but shared a moment, from each of our day.

We talked, because wavelength matched.

Hesitance, assuming privacy and so on

names, I could not catch..

Really cool acquaintances,

both mother and daughter were..

departed, agreeing to write out loud.

Lost them to the crowd,

with still broken conversation...,

wishing a happy life and time to repair...

If our roads would meet again,

do tell me your names.

If lost, what a shame

to the least, we can shout each others names. :-)
