Hi Cynthia

Thank you for reading and commenting but I have decided not to change the poem. I have my own rule that once I blog I do not go back and edit. In this case, I think it also shows that either;

It opens up the piece to be read in a different way and I am now looking at it differently, or

It is ok to make mistakes

Lynn, this is so good, so effective, do go back and fix 'sewn', not 'sown' which means 'to scatter seeds'. Probably a simple typo.

this poem inspired my latest piece which i have just posted. hope it does it some justice. obviously its me, so its batshit and barely like the original, but i have tried to run with the same feeling of coming undone. thanks lynn, i was struggling this morning but you have given me inspiration. thats the greatest gift one poet could give to another!

Hi Stu. Thanks for your comments and the fact that I've managed to create that image and link really does make be chuffed! Since writing, the song Neddles and Pins has popped into my head and I think I may struggle to get rid of a while and its starting to annoy me x

great imagery lynn! its dark and surreal, like tim burton imbued with sexual tension and marital strife. it reminds me a lot of this;
