Tonight,19th Jan, Write Out Loud Sale's (pictured) relaunch under its new coordinatorship of Sarah Pritchard and Mo Harrop, with Julian Jordon making a rare appearance as compere. Expect puns. And lots of wonderful, uplifting poems. Not from the compere though!

Tomorrow, Wednesday 20th, the focus is on Marsden Write Out Loud where we are expecting a reet grand turnout to greet the new poetic year. Tea and empathy, biscuits too, Riverhead pub afterwards.

Sunday has the next round in the phenomenon that is Middleton Write Out Loud, under Shirley-Ann Kennedy and Eileen Earnshaw’s tutelage, at the Ring O’ Bells next to the 900-year-old St Leonard’s Church. Well worth a visit. Both.
