2.15 today: William Blake radio play by Moxy Casimir…

entry picture

Moxy Casimir, whose writing studs our discussion pages in stellar fashion is really award-winning writer for radio, TV and theatre (and poet, mesmerist, lecturer, conjuror...) Lavinia Murray, whose play, The Tyger Hunt is to be broadcast this Friday at 2.15 pm on Radio 4. Listen in or listen again.

Lavinia's play imagines a surreal (no surprises there!) day in the life of the young William Blake. With a runaway tiger on the loose, William is out with his sketch pad to capture the magic of a truly enchanting and extraordinary afternoon. It stars Barney Clarke, who played Oliver Twist in Roman Polanski's film, and Pippa Heywood, who starred in The Green Wing, The Commander and The Brittas Empire.

Lavinia also has work in rehearsal at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh following her successes at The Royal Exchange and at BAC and with the Plough Paines company in London, not to menton the myriad plays she has had produced by the Beeb.

Producer/director Pauline Harris.

If you fancy writing a review or comment on it the discussion pages are available for that very thing: http://www.writeoutloud.net//public/newsgroups.php

Enjoy!
