I lost a friend today

My friend departed in a different way

I see the space my friend once stood

I remember when the time was good

When we both shared a part of a lifetime

Before they departed and went to the divine

My friend I wish you were still here

I wish I did not feel this fear

This sense you are here yet you have gone

The pain so real its second to none

You are nothing more than a world away

I wish on earth you could of stayed

That moment in time we were together

That moment I would have it that way forever.
