The Kiss

Stomach

Plunged

Breakfast

Dropped

As milk

Curdled

And

Swirled

Whilst

Waiting

For the

Door to

Lose

Its argument

With

The force

Splintering rips

Ripping splinters

Wrenched it

From

Injunction

Coated

Hinges

Suspended

Spoon

Laden

With Sugar

Coated Puffs

Stayed still

Stayed put

School pants

Turned from

Just warm

To warm and

Wet

Eyes could

Not look

Stare was

Stuck

At the

Back of

The cereal

Box

Which

Declared

There were

Only

Six more

Tokens

To collect

He heard

The snap

He heard

The crackle

And he heard

The pop

As mummy

Was

Awarded her

Consolation

Prize

For hiding

And seeking

Sloppy

Messy

Kisses

Planted

On the

Bridge of

Her once

Very pretty nose

Thanks David and Ray for commenting.

Turbulent yes, I thoroughly understand the 'clunk click' as it was written, as though a force had come crashing through that little lads wall whilst he ate his cereal, believing he was protected, and yes it smacked right into his mum but it wasn't a car.

Brace!

A glimpse into the turbulence - succinctly expressed Lynn. Lovely.
