shortcomings
categorise daily panics into quotes
and alphabetise them
read them aloud and record them
play them back to neighbourhood parties
and pound the adjoining walls, with flat fists
and fuel those pissy stares
then attach all written notes to fireworks
and drop into bonfire fires
then run and take cover
from heated burnt rain
where bad moods die
and beautiful, beautiful human beings appear
on all corners of all streets
caught in flumes of colour and ammo pops
a transfer of shortcomings
displaced in the outside world
but better and open, and felled to the ground
our clearance begins
as we know more now than we once did

Steve's comment is brilliant; I thought 'wisdom' as I read, and poetic skill with the right words to express it. One teeny point: could you omit the 'fires' after 'bonfire' and just use 'bonfires'? More correct, I think, and more dramatic, in keeping with your mood.
