Write Out Loud Marsden celebrates big month tonight

entry picture

July, seventh month of the year in the Julian calendar, was named by the Roman Senate in honour of Julius Caesar, because it was the month of his birth. Famous Julians include novelist Barnes, musicians Bream, Lennon, Lloyd Webber, Holland and Marley, son of Bob. Julian Tuwim was a celebrated Polish experimental poet in the early 20 century – and  Julian Jordon will be your host at Write Out Loud Marsden on Wednesday 20 July at Marsden library at 7.30pm. Bring two or three poems or just your ears to hear, and hands to clap. Share and enjoy open-floor poetry accompanied by a cuppa and a chocolate biscuit. Entry £2. More details and Map
