Dear Stranger

Dear stranger, I bet you don’t know you’re a hero.

Dear stranger do you realize you saved me.

Dear stranger, the moment you stopped me and asked “are you okay” is the same moment I no longer wanted to die.

Dear stranger, how did you know I was in so much pain, how did you know I was so lonely. Dear stranger, did you know I was going home to die.

Dear stranger, the look of concern is still stuck in my head.

Dear stranger, I wish I could thank you for saving me.

Dear stranger, I bet you don’t the impact you made on my life.

Dear stranger, thank you. Dear stranger, things do get better.

I believe this, Kristine..we need to pay attention to the stranger. That small amount of attention you give or receive could be life-saving. May never any one of us take it for granted.

ps
I speak of never taking it for granted, yet if life is a right so should our place be within it.
