Homeland
He looked over the land that belonged to his family with a sense of pride in his heart.
He took in the view of the lush forest, the swooping plains that covered the area, and the valley that he had spent his childhood playing in.
This was his land now, his home. He had inherited it from his father like his before him, and he would tend to the land, protecting it from harm in anyway he could.
It would be a lot of work, more than one would think that any one person should be capable of doing, bit in the end it would be very worth it because it would be the very same land that his children would one day play on much like he had so many years ago.
