Blue Light Fever

Lights flashing sirens wailing

the rush is high

it's Blue Light Fever Time.

It's carnage on the road,

at the accident

it's hell on earth,

broken bones

arms and legs

and bits of head

a sea of body parts.

Auto mode is the only way,

splints, neck braces

infusion line in,

got to stop that bleeding, need

to call for back up

to much for just two crews.

Covered in blood, mentally drained

Defib going on the guy in the back

wonder if he will make it?

lights flashing, sirens wailing

it's blue light fever time.

A Tribute.
