STARVE A FEAR
Starve a fear.
Eavesdropping on the festive table behind me
a daughter wrestles
with her Dad’s archaic ideologies.
“You’re interested but not committed Dad.
Interested in change,
Interested in writing,
Interested in exercising,
interested in a new relationship.
But you just keep talking.”
It goes for you too. Look at yourself in the mirror. You as well right?
Scratching the surface but afraid to take the plunge.
Is it worth the risk?
What are the rewards?
C’mon start a revolution.
Throw yourself completely into it.
If you don’t banish the fear you won’t get past square one.
Get in there . Surprise yourself.
Surpass your expectations. Look forbold adventurer. Look for the hero inside.
Enrol in the Sunday 5-a-side team,
Ask that gorgeous girl out (you know, the one in the supermarket).
Tell your girlfriend it’s not working,
Book that holiday to Vietnam.
If you can make this move, you will make history for yourself.
Tip the scales in your favour. Then crown yourself Conqueror of Fear.
Did someone say ‘impossible is nothing’?

Raj I like this, straight-talking and realistic with enough positives to be the antidote to lost hope! Great work. Paul
