Here is Me
Here is “Me”,
Caught up in the world of frenzy.
Where the spectrum of hopes
Is scattered immensely.
The colors they wanna see
I always fail to display
But now I know,
This is nothing but nature’s disdain play
They all want me to grow,
Want me to win the race.
But what they don’t know,
I have been stuck in this girth
They call “mother earth”
Crouching,
As I have run out of space.
But I am still running;
Trying to keep up the pace.
They too want me to slow down
And lay low;
Won’t let me stretch,
Or give me a chance to show.
Then they ask me why I frown?
My surroundings have inclined my inner nature.
It is what tainted my sanity,
And has shaped my outer figure.
So why blame me, or my past?
Whoever I have become,
It is the world around me
That has changed me this fast.
