The angle of declination

is steepest at the point

of our departure,

as we hurtle in abandon

avoiding swerves and curves

we race faster and faster

into eternity.

And the survivors

shall crawl from amongst the

rotting decaying corpses

of their fellows to

place flowers on their graves,

and we begin again..
