How evil is the mind of Man,

To do the things, as we all can,

Our evolution and history to refuse,

With inhuman profanity and abuse.

 

The nazis, to the Poles and Jews,

Set a raging firestorm loose,

They laughing, gay with callous calm,

Teased and tortured with unremitting charm,

Destroyed race and ravaged life,

Gorged upon others agony and strife,

To plant their own self-righteous seed,

And above all others, to the highest place succeed,

You must this remember for Humankind,

Has evil buried in its mind.

 

You or I could that nazi be,

Brutalising life with such burning glee,

If you let inhuman arrogance become unrepressed,

And release that fire which burns with such evil senselessness,

Overriding brain, intelligence and humanity,

To flow with blood febrile rage insanity,

Not once or twice have we seen its force,

But constant throughout history, without remorse,

So be ever watchful, take constant care,

That the evolved laws of Man are always there,

To keep us from our evil ways,

And that searing hate of intolerant rage.
