Out of Camelot

I remember well

the days of my youth

so many years ago

yet still fresh in my mind.

Fair maidens swooned

as we approached

Castle or Village,

young and old

rich or poor

who could resist such

a Knight so bold.

A honour, a privilage

to ride with Arthur

out of Camelot

to fight dragons in their lair,

my sword swift and sure

no fear had I at Camelot.

On return to the Castle Keep

comely wenches for me to adore,

I loved them all, each and everyone,

I thank them truly

for giving comfort to such a

lonely Knight as I.

Alas, those days are gone,

my sword as wilted with the

passing of the years,

yet, I still remember

riding out of Camelot.

it's not the age of the sword Bernie, it's how sharp you keep it. I am sure you still keep a honed edge ready for when you need it.
