Eavesdropped as he fumed and frothed
at the table next to me, spouting vengeance.
So I gifted my heart to him saying ‘Here my friend, you can have this.
It will help you kill the anger.’
Felt my life changed at that moment -- hoping my heart, garnished with forgiveness,
would change him.
Ecstatic in the thought that he can’t repay me.
That donation is priceless Colin. My only hope is that he uses that as a currency to generate peace, forgiveness and gratitude amongst everybody that he meets.
