FLYING FISH

entry picture

Flying fish wish to escape

their predators

They take flight

to avoid a fight

They'll never win.

---

They have special fins

that work as wings

Lifting them out of

the sunlight zone

Where most plants and animals

inhabit.

---

They can glide

quite a distance

Providing them

assistance

For their resistance

to their foes.

---

Who knows

how their special

gift was composed

But it comes in handy

is quite dandy

When dealing with

the reality of the ocean's

fatality.
