Free

Free

Everyday we walk outside
Lose ourselves
Fall into the imaginary state
Of our Consciousness
Look at that blade of grass
And wonder
How something so helpless
Can be so free

Free

Free, like the birds in the sky
And the breath pouring out of our lungs
Free, like that quiver in our eyes
When we see our love for the first time

Free

I'm free
To feel what I want
Love who I want
Be who I want
And there's nothing
Nothing
You can do about it
