The Sepulchre
There are those who live in the tomb
where there is very little room
Days are spent in the dark
and never do they hear the lark
In the darkness of the tomb
there is a life of perpetual gloom
Security there is often found
but for life it does confound
In the bowels of this earthly room
nothing ever comes too soon
It is a place where there is no growth
on this you can take an oath
Many do not want to be free
the world outside to see
They prefer to hide where all is dim
and conceal themselves deep within
Outside the tomb there is ample room
where people dance a different tune
It takes courage to roll back the stone
and go in search of life and home
