Then I've been nowhere

Not here

Nor there

Only one time

To school

 

It’s all a daydream

It’s all an inner scream

It’s all just sufficient enough

To get to the next scene

A bump in the road

Like a song you know

One that makes you stop

Before you can go

 

I'm not part of any team

I've nothing to do

With anything in between

I am over here

And can feel you breathing, there

In a way that

Fills the gap between us
