Born Again
As the early rays pierced my curtain a bird delivered its message
“Spring is more than a renewal of nature but of our spirit”
The winter wait was worth it… germinating, growing roots
and then the burst of flowers.
Calling for an unbridled celebration to the divine.
Looking up to the skies I say “thanks”
to that ultimate source that touches my soul.
I am reborn.

This is a poem which reminds me of the words of Alexandar Pope when he said that hope springs eternal in the human breast. I think we are constantly being reborn. Thank you for this. Keith
