Indignation

 

People everywhere

feel as if they are nowhere

All about there is control

please let freedom roll

Power held by a few 

simply will not do

Fat Cats, Bankers and Dictators

are the people´s traitors

Mortgages, interest rates, they take what we earn

people work hard for the freedom they yearn

Torture, injustice and downright robbery

are the latest forms of political snobbery

Potiticians are a dirty breed

the time has come to sow a new seed

The Third World is a term so rude

let us become a better brood

Prosperity should be for all

then let us make this our global call

We need to think anew

better ways to do

A fraternal spirit is in the air

a new found attitude of care

People have taken to the streets

all around the world for many weeks

The struggle has now been ignited

let us stand and be united

We are indignant

and no longer the ignorant

Indignation is what we feel

a better life which is for real
