I only like simple tea.
Sugar and milk.
Orange Pekoe is the only suitor for me
No flower petals or extracts.
I like it raw
With the teabag intact.

It wakes me slightly within bounds,
The caffeine level is well below coffee grounds.
No palpitation in sight,
No blurred vision, 
Or fright.

The Pekoe engulfs me like a warm winter coat.
Breathes me in like a bright day in heat.

I can live without its comfort,
But why should I?
