What does God Want from Us?

Laying in the prone

My fear as calloused as the toughest stone

Sent to a land unknown, having not been walked

Instilled with fear, I continue to balk

But, the Lord commands, Do not be afraid, I am your rock

Sent as building blocks

To a land only evil could concoct, wasting away like dry bones

Led by the Spirit, I am able to speak a melodious tone

Through which the light of the Father is shown

I follow His rhythm like a metronome

All He wants is to be known.

Travis this poem stands out like a beacon penetrating the dark events of recent months.

All He wants from us is to acknowledge Him and repent and He will heal our waywardness. I believe that from that moment we are redeemed. The God I know is compassionate, forgiving and slow to anger.
