This, I know to be true

Then, why does sin continue to woo?

I confess, Jesus, my King, until my face is blue

Yet I attempt coup after coup

Yes, I am renewed

Yes, I am made new

Sanctification takes time, like a slow roasted stew

This one thing is true

We are in the same boat, seeking God's view

Given new life, from the tomb, Jesus made His debut

To make a promise, the good work He started in you
