Cell Dissolution
My eyes close and I dissolve into the pillows languidly, one cell at a time.
You claim me in the most primitive of ways
I don't dare question it, and I don't dare breathe
I just take your offer and float along as you lead me
slowly down the passages of feather sensations
with every step a little deeper into the air where I can taste myself, the scent heady.
You grasp my waist and the dance intensifies
you usher me into the space where my eyes are alert,
where I am at once nothing and everything
in my brief expansiveness I attempt to swallow you up,
but you remain secure, strong.
As I plunge back into smallness, I breath again.
My eyes close and I dissolve into you, every cell all at once.

"you usher me into the space where my eyes are alert,
where I am at once nothing and everything"
I love this piece Dana. You've sublimated the encounter to anther level. Journeying into a spiritual space in mind.
To crown it all is the wonderful title. Well done.
