He once heard the wings

of a butterfly flutter

to him from far away

 

then felt the air

become confounded

along the travelling

harmonic wave;

 

his motor began

a resounding hum

to the exponentially

compounding tune

 

and, like the silkworm

ensconced within

the hardening cocoon,

 

found it damn near impossible

to percebtibly move.
