Away From The Wave
On a clear radiant day
Wrapped in a blanket of sand i lay,
Lathered with warm windy kisses
Managing to keep my mind at bay.
Like the still water world before me,
I let my gaze go astray.
A cloudy sigh escapes me
As the wind jogs across the sea,
While that same sigh soars high
Wings spread across the pacific sky.
An ominous shadow above is cast
Yet my peripheral vision is still vast.
As the wind accelerates into a sprint,
My mind races against it receiving a hint.
MY body slams its somatic breaksĀ
My soul drops to its knees and prays.
Studying the sea being sucked to its core
Like the sweet strawberry mojito i drank before.
A sour taste deems my mouth to drop
As my eyes follow a rising mountain top,
Like endless stacks of majestic mount Fujis.
My mind, body, and soul are high on the scale
As the eclipsing wave plummets promising to impale
Gazing higher up i suddenly find peace,
Able to finally put my mind at ease.
Only to have my body wasted away
And my soul reborn again today
By the greatest galactic wave.
