Written whilst listening to Jay Som: Lipstick Stains

The corners of your lips cause my insides to melt
The shape of your eyebrows make my knees wobble
The hairs on your chest whip me into a state of frenzied madness I think I am going to burst

I just want to be in your presence all the time
I want to float next to you through life
I want to roll over and hear you breathing in the morning
Peer at you through one eye over my pillow
I want to swim in your stories and experiences as we lye and talk together in bed
Our little kingdom, with only our sheets to dress ourselves inĀ
I want to bury my face into the nape of your neck when I cry
Feel your long willowly arms interlocked around me
Forever safe in the fortress that is you

I want to mean everything, that you mean to me, to you
I want you to see me

I want you to notice me
