What Have We Become?

What have we become?
The value has decreased immensely,
A common person now only worth a penny.
Which is sadly worth more than many of our women.

There is a difference between looking nice and looking
as though you belong on a street corner.
Honey, your boobs are showing through the translucent shirt you wear.
Dear, not everything revolves around your next hit.

No, I actually don't care about your selfie thank you.
Personally, it makes no difference.
Would it be rude for me to ask what a filter is for that?
Or rather yet, what you were thinking when you took that drunk shot?

A hash-tag is not something to place before a ridiculous phase,
This generation is giving a whole new meaning to the phrase:
No hope for humanity.
Our society has dropped not by inches, or even feet.
We have dropped by thousands and thousands of miles.

Have they stopped manufactured belts?
Or must we educate the skaters on those as well?
Gangster? I'm sorry, but you are no Clyde.
Your Bonnie looks a little round, perhaps with a child?

Now don't take it as an attack,
But rather, an exploration of the truth.
In a land of pure imagination,
Everything sure seems to have gone grey.

I'm not saying it's all bad,
It's merely just pointing out a point of view.
Love, how do we survive,
In a world where everyone wants to be the same
but still claim originality?

This has become our society,
Will you please help me change it?
At this point all we need is a small spark,
But be quick, otherwise this disease of uncare may just consume us as well.

We've become lazy sadly, and now the world is paying for it.
This is our society.
A bit sad, isn't it?
Help change our society, do something productive.
