Apples & Snakes presents: Beyond Words: New Poetry From South Africa Live On Tour
 
Four inspiring South African poets tour the UK together for the first time.
Brought together by the country's Poet Laureate and renowned campaigner Keorapetse Kgositsile (pictured), this show features new work from voices of South Africa in the 21st century. 

Joining Keorapets on stage are Lebo Mashile, Don Mattera and Phillippa Yaa de Villiers, who offer a breadth of styles and voices. This is a blistering introduction to the poetry of the new South Africa and to the power of live poetry in performance.
