Perhaps belonging. 

Tribal.  Feral.

 

Perhaps marking self out as distinct. 

Separating self from the others.

 

Our first phases feel self-defining.

Feel so ultimately real we know

we’ll never change.  We’ll represent our

tribe, our belief, our heart forever.

 

And after many fruitful guises,

Our true colours shine through.  The rainbow

Phases we’ve decorated our lives

With reflect our true, heart-worn colours.
